Since its inception, Kostecki Architecture + Design, LLC has had the privilege of working on a diverse range of building types, sizes, and styles. While not all of these projects were ultimately constructed, each received the same level of care and dedication that we bring to every client we serve. COTTLEVILLE CITY HALL AND POLICE FACILITY

In 2006, we were honored to be awarded the Cottleville City Hall and Police Facility project. This award-winning building, which received a 2009 St. Louis Construction News and Real Estate Regional Excellence Award and earned LEED Silver certification, offers 15,000 square feet of space to serve the city’s growing needs. Situated at the heart of Cottleville’s historic district, the City Hall serves as a landmark for both residents and visitors, seamlessly connecting with the adjacent Legacy Park to create a vibrant focal point for the community to enjoy.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS CONCESSION STAND

The Knights of Columbus in Cottleville approached us to design an affordable concession stand and covered seating area with views of the playing fields. The building includes a fully equipped kitchen and concession area, a refrigerated section, ample storage space, and shelving. Additionally, the project involved upgrading the existing restroom facilities, ensuring a functional and comfortable space for staff and visitors.

SACRED HEART CHURCH AND SCHOOL

One of several projects completed for Sacred Heart, the entry to the Sacred Heart Parish Hall was designed to provide an inviting entry, both interior and exterior, to this space.

CUSTOM HOME - COLUMBIA, MO

In 2024, we had the opportunity to work with a client who envisioned a spacious, custom-built ranch home in Columbia, MO, perfectly designed for both comfort and entertainment. The home features a 3-car garage, expansive indoor living spaces, and a stunning outdoor entertainment area—all set on a generous 3-acre lot. The design incorporates beautiful brick and stone accents, offering both elegance and durability. This project involved extensive collaboration with the client, ensuring every detail was tailored to their needs. After many productive meetings and thoughtful planning, the home is set for completion with a move-in date in May 2025.

COBBLESTONE CREEK ESTATES - PRIVATE RESIDENCE

We designed this residence from the site up: selecting a location, site and residential style we felt would form the perfect home for a future family.  Every material, both inside and out, was selected by our team to provide a look and feel that are both inviting and comforting.  From the solid maple doors, to the cherry floor, to the elegant light fixtures, to the cedar shutters and prairie style windows, every detail was selected with the utmost care.

KITCHEN

The kitchen was designed with connection to the family in mind with direct access to the eat-in area, portal to family room, and connection to the hallway.  With solid maple cabinets, dark granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances, the master chef of the house is prepared to create anything from toasted cheese to a Thanksgiving buffet.

FAMILY ROOM

The Family Room has maple built-in shelving, trim, and fireplace surround, as well as a direct connection to the spacious deck overlooking the one acre backyard.

HALLWAY

The main corridor of the house is very wide and broken up to have a gallery feel, complete with cherry and tile flooring along with 1x6 maple-trimmed base, doors and upper banding.

TURNBERRY PLACE SUBDIVISION ENTRY SIGN

We were approached by one of the residents of the Turnberry Place subdivision to provide design and construction documents for flanking subdivision entry signs.  We were more than pleased to accept the challenge and provided the subdivision with a design that was aesthetically pleasing and within budget.

GRAND SLAM STORAGE CENTER

We were approached by a developer to create a storage facility unlike most in that a theme was desired to make it stand out from a typical storage center.  We suggested creating a look that mimicked the home of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and the current Busch Stadium couple with an appropriate name.
